Dr. David Dowe
After receiving an undergraduate degree in Biology from UVIC, Dr. Dowe volunteered with eye doctors in remote areas of Guyana, South America, where he lived with the indigenous people for four months, assisting Canadian and American eye doctors treat the underserved locals. When he returned to Canada, he applied and was invited into the Doctorate of Optometry program at Pacific University, in Oregon. After his training he completed an internship at Tyndall Airforce Hospital, Panama City, Florida.
Dr. Amber Vinge
With an undergraduate degree of Biology from the University of British Columbia, Dr. Vinge went on to complete the Doctor of Optometry program. She graduated with honours in 2011 from the University of Waterloo. She completed an Ocular Health internship in Pennsylvania that provided specialized training in managing glaucoma, retinal disease and diabetes.
